Terms of Service
Effective date: July 10, 2026
Last updated: July 10, 2026
1. Agreement to terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of led.fyi — including our web application, desktop applications, and related services (together, the “Service”). By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
When the terms change in a material way, we may ask you to accept the updated Terms before you continue using the Service.
2. Who may use the Service
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf, and “you” includes that organization.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Authentication is handled by Supabase using industry-standard encryption; we do not store your password directly. Notify us promptly at support@led.fyi if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.
4. Subscriptions, billing, and trials
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method for the applicable fees until you cancel. You may cancel at any time; your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period, and fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change plan pricing or features on reasonable notice.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service in violation of any applicable law or regulation
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other users’ data, or our systems
- Reverse engineer, resell, or sublicense the Service except as expressly permitted
- Upload content that infringes others’ rights or contains malware
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
6. Your content
You retain ownership of the projects, designs, equipment profiles, and other content you create with the Service (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited license to host, store, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service. We may use anonymized, aggregated equipment and configuration data to improve our shared panel database for all users, as described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and content we provide, is owned by led.fyi and its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. The engineering calculations and outputs the Service produces are provided as design aids, not as certified engineering documents.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any calculation, simulation, load figure, or document it generates is accurate or fit for a particular purpose. You are responsible for independently verifying all designs, power and structural loads, wiring, and safety-critical decisions with a qualified professional before installation or live operation.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, led.fyi and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that could harm us, other users, or third parties. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; sections that by their nature should survive (such as ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.
11. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms, and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or the Service, are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You and led.fyi agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Sacramento County, California for any dispute that is not otherwise resolved. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect, and that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and led.fyi regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make a material change, we will post the updated Terms here with a new revision date and may require you to accept them again before you continue. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
13. Contact
The Service is operated by Blinking Things LLC (“led.fyi,” “we,” “us”), 2108 N St, Ste N, Sacramento, CA 94816, USA. If you have any questions about these Terms, contact us at support@led.fyi.
By using led.fyi, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
